2 ball bearings ABEC 5
no adjustment or set-up necessary – the counter bearing is centered and screwed precisely using a hexagon socket !
A hardened axle with 65 mm is used as standard for this purpose – with some models a 60 mm axle is sufficient
Installation is very easy to do even for newcomers / laypeople!
The engine mount also serves as a replacement for defective or lost engine mounts.
The MT is compatible with all Carrera D124 (except Exclusiv Porsche Spyder and Audi R10 Spyder and models with a closed magnetic shaft must remove the hexagon. For example Ferrari 575 or Corv. C6R.
The engine mount can be installed with a spring or fixed (without suspension).
It is no longer necessary to set the gear backlash – the total number of teeth must, however, have 60 teeth
Attention – it is no longer possible to assemble the central or rear magnets !!!
Adjustments are required for some vehicles:
M1 – on the counter bearing, the hexagon is slightly slanted here – error in the Carrera shape
Porsche 991 – reworking on the inlet where the recess for the gear is located
