Description
This is the Speedmaster large strut for 1/4″ (.250) propeller shafts.
These can be used on Hydros, Riggers or Catamarans of 35″ or greater. Made with high-quality aluminum, CNC cut to tight tolerances. These come with a cross-drilled strut bushing for a .250 (1/4″) prop shafts.
We offer this in a flat bottom or round bottom style. Flat bottom can be used to give more transom lift for hydros or riggers that need it. Round bottoms are mostly used for mono’s and catamarans. Click the small pictures for details.
These can be bought with Hydro(short) or Mono(long) brackets.
The Hydro bracket will have the nose cone of the strut under the hull. The Mono bracket will have the nose piece close to the transom.

You may have seen this strut elsewhere for a lower cost, the difference is OSE packages these with the bushing which most all the other companies out there DO NOT!

.250(1/4″) Strut requires K&S 5/16″ brass stuffing tube. pn# ks-brass-tb-12, option 8133 or ks-brass-tb-36 option 1151.
